Saint Cecilia Records is proud to present La Mer, the second album by Daniel Land's ambient project riverrun.
Running to nearly 75 minutes in length, and featuring twelve tracks (including the epic closer "Dancing Ledge"), La Mer is a continuation of the layered sound first shown on the debut album Pentimento, featuring an extended cycle of tracks evoking landscapes and locations of the West Country and the island of Jersey, woven around audio-vérité recordings of the North Somerset Coast and the signature riverrun ambient sound.

The bulk of the album was recorded in 2010 at Land's studio in Manchester whilst also featuring material from location recordings (and various studio sessions) in Devon. Mainly performed by Daniel, the album also features contributions from Graeme Meikle (Modern Painters).
